My client has an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a role as a Senior Property Accountant in their Washington, DC office. They are within the real estate industry and the ideal person selected for the Senior Property Accountant position will be responsible for assisting with the accounting operations, completing the month-end close process, producing financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting and helping with property and asset management of multiple properties. Daily responsibilities of the Senior Property Accountant include:

· Property and asset management.

· Complete month-end close process.

· Prepare various budgets and schedules.

· Assist with property tax and other filings.

· Reconcile balance sheet accounts.

Requirements

The ideal Senior Property Accountant we seek must have the following qualifications for consideration:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

· 4+ years of real estate accounting experience.

· Yardi or MRI, a plus.

· Communicate effectively to leadership.
