About the Role:

As the VMware Business Development Manager at Arrow, you will lead business development initiatives within the Slovakian market. Collaborating closely with our sales team, you'll identify potential opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth for VMware's products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth, focusing on key markets and customer segments in Slovakia to expand VMware's market presence.

  • Partnership Development and Management: Identify and evaluate potential reseller partners with strong potential to promote and sell VMware's offerings.

  • Sales Enablement and New Business Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and vendors, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering trust and support.

  • Market Analysis and Forecasting: Provide accurate forecasting of opportunities, both short- and long-term, to support decision-making and planning.

  • Contract Negotiation and Relationship Management: Negotiate partnership agreements and licensing terms to ensure favorable terms for VMware while maintaining strong relationships with partners.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with internal teams, including product management and marketing, to align business development efforts with overall company objectives and product strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in Business Development or Pre-Sales within IT distribution or IT sales.

  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in Slovak and English.

  • Strong knowledge of the Slovak market and target-driven approach.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive and hardworking attitude.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

  • Demonstrated strategic planning and execution abilities.

  • Ability to adapt to evolving business priorities, market dynamics, and technological advancements.

  • Proficiency in VMware products and solutions is highly desirable.
