Essilor of America Global Trade Marketing Manager in Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the trade marketing platform of the division, manage the plans with excellence, competence and industries’ specific requirements.

  • Ensure coherence and consistency across the Subsidiaries in developing the best in class trade marketing activations and sales plans.

  • Ensure all marketing and trade tools are relevant and available on time for the regions, managing simultaneously budgets, implementations and executions.

  • Develop methodological processes to ensure the marketing initiatives are executed with excellence and global consistency.

  • Act as the primary point of contact with the customer base for the execution of initiatives agreed by the management, i.e. Promo Islands, HPP, trade incentives, marketing activations.

  • Plan, develop and implement personalization projects with internal and external partners

  • Prepare and manage Duty Free trade fairs (Singapore and Cannes) and international eyewear shows (Mido and Opti)

  • Participate in key business reviews’ preparation and presentation and generate fresh ideas and consistent plans.

  • Participate in cross functional consumer brand exposure team to shape brand activation strategy and implementation.

  • Ensure alignment across the Business Units and on field sales needs and marketing initiatives.

  • Align with other Marketing Managers and Directors to ensure a consistent and coherent look for the brand; keeping fixtures and visuals up to date and ensuring timing of promotional events are aligned to ensure maximum impact

  • Fully understand the market dynamics of the eyewear industry to seek out and identify business growth opportunities (brand strategies and new product development) in liaison with Marketing and Sales

  • Continuously gather intelligence/research on the brand’s performance, customer and consumer attitudes to identify opportunities and improvements.

  • Present and review marketing activity and performance at sales and marketing meetings. .

Traveling Requirements: 40%

Perimeter: Asia Pacific, Europe

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in related field

  • 7-10 years of relevant professional experience (in Travel Retail, Eyewear, Beauty, FMCG) in APAC, EMEA, preferably combined with a commercial role is an added advantage

  • Eyewear experience is a plus and execution experience

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong proficiency of Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills​​​​​​​

  • Global mindset and previous international experience are a plus
