The Air and Ground Optimization Team ensures preferred suppliers who provide us with the best content receive foremost support by deploying technology and tools to highlight the key attributes and benefits of these products. As a result, our premium client base would continue to grow, and we would create a virtuous circle driving value for both our preferred suppliers and our customers.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, have a strategic and commercial attitude and be able to grasp the various aspects of supplier and client travel economics as well as content distribution to set data grounded optimization strategies across different business units and client segments. You will need to have a highly developed eye for business and an ambitious mentality, spotting new revenue generating opportunities and be able to drive them from ideation through to rollout.

• Create strategies based on an analytical, data driven mentality but also feels comfortable in driving that into hands on implementation.

• A strong understanding of air and non-air content distribution, online retailing, channel management and travel economics would be a plus.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing people at all levels of the organization or at partner organizations, setting common goals and deliver according to plans.

• Feels comfortable using Excel databases and doing analysis on data sets.

• Excellent communication skills (written and oral), fluency in English & strong presentation skills.

• Excellent organizational and planning skills, able to handle multiple projects with different deliverables at the same time, has attention to detail and ability to deliver within deadlines and highlights deliverable issues and suggested solutions on time.

• Preference for EMEA Based, US is also considered.

• Influence key stakeholders within AmexGBT and in partner organizations to inspire change and results.

• Working with various teams to deploy strategies, track results and take corrective actions where necessary.

• Set up tracking to gain insight in results and find opportunities to further optimize.

• Commercial attitude and strong innovator, driver of change, balancing technology solutions versus investment and revenue.

• Create strategies based on an analytical, data driven mentality but also feels comfortable in driving that into hands on implementation.
