Essilor of America Business Development & Account Manager in Australia

Essilor is seeking an experienced Business Development & Account Manager for the Nikon Optical brand nationally.

This role will manage a small portfolio of accounts based across Australia, but will also actively seek out new businesses that align to the Nikon portfolio and work with practice managers to build a successful partnership growing both their business and ours. The role requires a high degree of technical product knowledge, and the practice development activities may include training staff on not only the Nikon range, but also on such topics as best practice in dispensing or use of marketing collateral. This role will work closely with the Nikon Marketing Manager to analyse market data and actively target accounts for the portfolio.

Our ideal candidate for this position will have Account Management and Business Development experience, with experience in the Optical Industry highly regarded (candidates who hold qualifications in Optics will be looked upon favourably). Critical to success in this role is the ability to build strong professional partnerships with our accounts - relationship building and communication skills (across phone, face to face and email) are essential. Excellent analytical, planning and organising skills are also required.

This role will require frequent travel to ensure a high level of service to our Nikon partners. Though Sydney is our preferred location, candidates from Brisbane & Melbourne will also be considered.
