Description We are on the search for a meticulous and reliable Collections Specialist to join our team in Troy, Michigan. In this role, you will be tasked with managing and resolving customer credit inquiries, processing credit applications, and ensuring the accuracy of customer credit records. This role also involves monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect overdue payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts for any irregularities or overdue payments

• Take appropriate action to collect overdue payments, adhering to company policies and procedures

• Use Microsoft Excel to manage and organize data effectively

• Handle billing functions and collection processes according to established protocols

• Provide outstanding customer service, resolving any issues with professionalism and in accordance with company standards

• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team and individual targets

• Stay updated with industry trends and developments to enhance performance and skills. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for the management of financial data.

• Demonstrated experience in billing functions to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing.

• Understanding of collection processes to effectively manage outstanding payments and minimize bad debts.

• Previous role as a Collector is valued for familiarity with the industry best practices.

• Exceptional customer service skills to handle queries and maintain relationships with clients.
