WestRock Company Financial Analyst in Tczew, Poland
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Financial Controller for the Tczew Plant, this role will assist the Finance function for the MPS Tczew & Peremarton facilities, supporting the existing local organization in compliance with Company policies, Financial Planning & Analysis, and support with transactional Activities such as Accounts payable & Receivable.
How you will impact WestRock
Business Partner with the operational & functional leads, provide support, guidance, and advice to both them and their management team
Support with the preparation of the statutory & US-GAAP monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements & reporting.
Support with month end close processes including posting journal entries, managing accruals & provisions.
Preparation of sales and expense reporting & analysis along.
Review of Job costing, actual vs Standard costing.
Assist with monthly & annual statistical reporting.
Assist with reviewing, ensuring, and developing internal SOX controls & processes.
Support with fixed asset reporting, & transactional activities related to Accounts payable & receivable
Take a leading role in the budgeting & planning processes
Impacts work according to detailed instructions related to current tasks given by the employer and supervisor.
Occasional travel may be required.
What you need to succeed in this role:
Completed degree in accounting (or equivalent), three or more years of professional experience preferred.
Knowledge in the areas of accounting, controlling, and reporting .
Proactive, hardworking and someone who can build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstratable experience of excellent analytical, numeracy, organizational and communication (including English language) skills.
Continuous improvement mindset to function as a driver for change, development & efficiency improvements.
Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
Proficient in MS Packages including competent in Microsoft Excel.
Flexible individual willing to take on tasks outside the list above and taking ownership of all assigned tasks.
Knowledge of the use of the SAP FI module and ERP systems.
Experience with Oracle Hyperion beneficial.
Good knowledge of English required.
