As the Technical Key Account Manager you are responsible for helping our customers to grow by selling a range of secondary Label Print & Apply coding and marking equipment. You will be the customers ally by listening to their needs and helping them improve productivity and to protect and grow their brands. Your customers could be within consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and industrial goods industries, where no two days will be the same.

As this role covers the South of the UK ( Essex , Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Kent) , it would be ideal for you to be based along the M4 corridor. This is a field-based role, which is fully remote.

In this role, you will:

  • Secure and grow revenue within your region by selling the Label Print and Apply product range to existing and new customers

  • Participate in regional/national trade shows and onsite equipment demonstrations at customers’ sites

  • Promote a variety of finance and service agreements to our customers

  • Lead sales activity through sales metrics using our CRM (SalesForce.com)

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • A proven record in a solutions-based technical sales role

  • A background in engineering

  • Ability to prioritise and work on both long- & short-term projects

  • Excellent listening skills and ability to understand and interpret customer needs and handle their expectations

  • Knowledge of a CRM (preferably salesforce.com) would be advantageous
