We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Tax Staff - Public in the Professional Services industry based in Southlake, Texas, 76092, United States. The role involves handling complex tax returns and annual tax provisions, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax returns to ensure compliance with regulations.

• Utilize industry-specific software to streamline tax preparation and review processes.

• Collaborate with team members to understand and apply tax laws and regulations.

• Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date client tax records.

• Liaise with clients to gather necessary information for tax return preparation.

• Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities.

• Stay updated with changes in tax regulations and laws that may affect clients.

• Provide guidance and support to junior staff members on tax-related matters.

• Work closely with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to client service delivery.

• Handle ad-hoc tax-related projects as required by the management.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in a tax staff role within the professional services industry.

• Proven ability to handle complex tax return preparation.

• Demonstrated experience in preparing annual tax provisions.

• Strong knowledge of tax codes, compliance and procedures.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.

• Proficiency in tax software and digital tools for efficient workflow.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is preferred.

• Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

• Proven ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.

• Must be legally eligible to work in the country without sponsorship.

• Strong analytical and research skills.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
