Production Lead Supervisor - Smith Falls

Position Description

Job Summary

Kaycan has an exciting career opportunity for a Production Lead Supervisor based in Smith Falls to join our team. This is a great chance to join a Top Employer and contribute to our growth and success.

Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, the Production Lead Supervisor will manage a team of 4 people and plan production activities.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Shifts: 8 hours

Tasks:

• Ensuring compliance with our high quality standards

• Apply and enforce occupational health and safety rules

• Good command of the Microsoft suite

• Perform job analysis of completed orders

• Ensure quality of raw materials from suppliers

• Ensure the smooth order flow on production lines

• Review and submit production reports

• Inform managers of production trends

• Report any non-compliant situations and discuss the actions to be taken

• Ensuring sound management of discipline and labour relations

• Provide technical support when required

• Collaborate with production supervisors and maintenance departments

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in personnel management

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

• Experience managing unionized staff – An asset

• Knowledge of coil coating

• Good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standards
