Purpose of Role

The Retail Merchandising Intern will develop insights into how merchandising data and decisions impact business performance within the Retail Industry in Singapore and Malaysia. He/She is responsible for analyzing and reporting merchandising data, assisting in store openings, product launches, and promotion planning for Brand House and Factory Outlet.

We will prioritize candidates who can dedicate themselves to a full-time 6-month internship.

Your Impact

• Assist with SG/MY weekly analysis of merchandising data (such as by categories, store segments, sell-through, etc.).

• Develop and communicate (for instance, weekly allocation deck, monthly operations deck); and share successes and priorities with the Retail team.

• Support projects that demand a more profound comprehension of the business, such as analyzing the productivity of entry moment or destination zones, among others.

• Assist in projects such as store openings, product launches, and promotion planning.

What exposures will you gain by the end of the internship?

• Exposure to the foundation of merchandising in a retail business.

• Ability to understand and gain hands-on analytic experience to support Brand House and Factory Outlet.

• How to communicate across a diverse organisation with many different cultures, geographies and preferences

Who are we looking for?

• Strong interest in retail and merchandising

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Power and Word)

• Strong multi-tasking skills & sense of urgency (good time management)

• Takes initiative and is able to work independently with strong follow-up skills.

• Independent learner who is open to being guided by Seniors & Managers within the organization.

• Team player mindset with communication & collaboration skills

• Return To Work Designation : Hybrid work arrangement permits working from home on Mondays and Fridays, with flexibility subject to company requirements.
