Applied Materials Hardware Qualification and Dev. Support Team Engineer in Singapore, Singapore
Key Responsibilities:
Perform chamber and mainframe installation and troubleshooting
Ensure tool remains up for Process and other hardware qualifications.
Work with Clean Room Facilities group to specify facilities requirements.
Understand facilities availability and needs of the tool and work with the facilities group to manage & troubleshoot any facilities related issues.
High level technical knowledge in at least one R&D discipline (Optic, Electronic, Motion, SEM):
Support R&D module owner in “Off & On Tool” Module Integration, Calibration and Qualification;
Qualify Module performance to spec (on & off tool);
Support R&D development (C&F) activities.
Qualification of non-system components (isolated from application);
Define & execute Qualification plans; Define, execute and qualify calibration procedures (off and on tool).
Expert in tool Build and Integration.
Basic debug abilities and 3rd level of escalation (in some cases) to modules that are within area of expertise
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or higher relevant qualifications
Prior hands-on experiences in Wafer Fabrication Semiconductor tools (CVD, PVD)
Ability to work with deadlines and with all levels of stakeholders
Ability to work in cleanroom work environment
