Premier real estate property management company is looking to hire an Accounting Manager to oversee the corporate accounting team. This position offers the opportunity to join a well-established company that is continuing to grow and acquire new properties.

Responsibilities

· Oversee the monthly, quarterly and year end closings.

· Prepare monthly financial statements and consolidated financial statements.

· Financial statement reviews and reconciliations.

· Oversee tax filings.

· Interact with internal and external audit teams.

· Participate in the budget and planning process and help with strategic planning.

· Implement internal controls and best practices.

· Manage a small accounting team and contribute to the accounting team's overall success.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

· 4+ years' work in corporate accounting preferably within the real estate industry.

· Any management or mentoring skills is a plus.

· Real estate software systems experience is a plus.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
