In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct and supportive care to clients/patients. Your duties will include overseeing daily activities, monitoring vital signs, intervening during crises, facilitating group education/activities, and ensuring the well-being and safety of those in our care. You will be an integral part of the treatment team, contributing to the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and document client/patient behavior, ensuring a safe and supportive environment

  • Admit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patients

  • Obtain and record vital signs, monitor for critical symptoms, and escalate concerns appropriately

  • Oversee medication administration according to policies and procedures

  • Encourage adherence to program expectations and communicate concerns to the treatment team

  • Facilitate group education, structured activities, and client transportation as needed

  • Maintain accurate documentation and record-keeping

  • Foster adaptive behavior and positive social interactions among clients

  • Prepare for and facilitate rehabilitative support, education, and recovery skill groups

  • Ensure a clean and well-maintained environment, reporting maintenance concerns promptly

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • High School education OR equivalent and two (2) years of responsible employment

  • Experience in Human Services or related field preferred

  • Exceptions to qualifications may be made by the appropriate Executive Team member

Additional Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of background checks (criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect)

  • Obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 3 months of employment

  • Complete required training (e.g., Medication Administration, Behavioral Management, Crisis Management)

  • Achieve 36-hour training requirements within 2 years, and 40 hours annually thereafter

  • Valid driver's license in state of residency with an acceptable driving record

  • Age requirements: 21+ to operate company vehicle, 23+ to operate 15-passenger van

  • For Residential Care Facility (RCF): Become credentialed as a Level 1 Med Aid (LIMA) and Insulin Certified within 90 days
