Head of Logistics Procurement EMEIA
Within ASSA ABLOY we are looking for a Head of Logistics Procurement EMEIA. You will report to the VP & Head of Logistics EMEIA. You will be accountable for developing and implementing strategic plans that ensure the Logistics Procurement strategy is aligned to future needs as part of an overall Logistics transformation program “Octopus” while delivering market-leading service and cos levels through effective Logistics procurement processes. What would you do as our Head of Logistics EMEIA?
You will be an integral part of the EMEIA Logistics management team. As part of the EMEIA Logistics management team, you must demonstrate a clear and aligned plan to all levels of the organization. These plans will have specific deliverables and she/he will be able to show transparency of results while driving and tracking these improvements across the EMEIA organization. You will lead in developing and implementing an overall strategy for the Logistics categories (Inbound, Warehousing, Outbound, and Packaging). Specific responsibility will be on working collaboratively across multiple and diverse Business Areas. You will also be part of the change process and fully contribute to the development of best practice processes and the evolution of a culture change both internally and externally.

To own the Logistics Procurements processes within the business, ensuring processes become deeply embedded and followed by all Business Areas
To further implement the agreed Logistics strategy “Octopus”, resulting in Logistics & SC improvements initiatives (lower Logistics Costs as % of Sales, reduced MTPT, improved OFR, more effective use of headcounts, and so on)
To have overall responsibility for all Business Areas in EMEIA ensuring all Logistical financial and non-financial KPIs, such as Logistics as a % of Sales and associated cost savings are delivered
Be centrally led and strategically focused, and create standards, processes, and guidance for local strategy execution and transactions as appropriate
Be at the forefront of Indirect Procurement Knowledge Management and best practices and will demonstrate these attributes in the strategic and day-to-day decisions, execution, process implementation, and compliance across the organization
Lead for Opening Solutions EMEIA development, negotiation, and approval of key, selected categories, and subcategories that will deliver direct benefits to the business by driving overall improvement across EMEIA Regions
Work closely with the regional indirect lead, ensure implementation of approved category strategies and that anticipated value is delivered to the bottom line
Increase capability of local procurement teams, as required, through upskilling, and refocusing of roles, and will provide a great opportunity for driving benefits on locally managed spend
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who
Being Educated to a Degree Level in Supply Chain / Logistics procurement is a strong advantage, MCIPS belt is a plus
You held procurement and strategic experience: ideally management experience in a logistics/supply chain procurement environment, preferably within a multi-national industrial environment
Experience in managing the whole Supply Chain including process improvement and program management and in tendering and managing high-value contracts
Strong experience in sourcing and contract management of Logistics categories
Hands-on experience in implementing and utilizing ERP and other Procurement systems. Experience of Microsoft AX2012 advantage. Highly skilled in reporting & analysis (preferably Power BI)
An openness to flexibility and willingness to travel is required, as this role will involve significant travel within the EMEIA region
Fluency in spoken and written English is required (additional language skills are highly advantageous, no Dutch is required
