About the role

An exciting opportunity awaits a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Stantec Engineering & Design team. Working out of our Perth CBD office you will form an integral part of the Mechanical (Technical) Engineering team, reporting directly to the Lead Mechanical Engineer.

Qualifications

To be successful for this role you'll need:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Mining and/or Resources Industry

  • Experience in minerals processing, pumping and piping

  • Experience in materials handling conveyor systems

  • Experience in multiple areas of the supply chain from Pit to Port

  • Experience from studies to detailed design to execution.

  • In-depth knowledge of discipline design standards and engineering systems

  • Experience in a senior engineering role supervising discipline team members

  • Proficient use of related packages including, Fluid Flow 3, Helix, Sidewinder, JK Sim
