Universal Engineering Sciences Financial System Analyst (24 Month Contract Role) in Orlando, Florida

We're looking for a Financial System Analyst to support the rollout of our new ERP/Finance processes and technology efforts at Universal Engineering Sciences (UES). This is a key strategic role, as part of the ongoing growth and enhancement of our company’s technology capabilities. As Financial System Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting our multi-year strategic Enterprise Application Suite implementation, including ERP, CRM, HCM and Ops applications, supporting the vision and future direction of UES. You will engage with Finance/Accounting teams to identify root cause, resolve issues, and document any learnings.

The Finance Analyst is responsible for partnering with Regional CFO’s and their teams to help with finance & accounting related tasks. This role requires strong finance/accounting skills, technical aptitude, and excellent communication abilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies and plans to ensure smooth transitions during system implementations and upgrades

  • Effectively partner and coordinate with cross functional teams related to new process initiatives

  • Design, build, and administer efficient methods to gather data and input to support change efforts (e.g., focus groups, adoption surveys, technology documentation, etc.)

  • Define overall change readiness plan aligned to project plans that addresses change impacts, including adoption measurement plan and associated tracking and reporting mechanisms

  • Design training materials, including presentations, user guides, e-learning modules, and other resources, to support effective learning and application of the new systems

  • Incorporate learning principles and best practices into training program design

  • Build effective partnership with local and regional Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) including project, HR and regional leaders to ensure the alignment of training programs and activities

  • Solicit feedback from end-users and stakeholders to continuously improve programs and address emerging needs

  • Create communication materials, including but not limited to newsletters, emails, and intranet content, to effectively communicate system changes, benefits, and training opportunities to employees

  • Support leadership and project working teams with the development of written and visual materials, presentations, talking points, and more

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on project tasks, tools, and/or specifications

  • Travel is approximately 50%

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • Understanding of ERP applications is desired but not required. Experience with Deltek products is a plus

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to tell compelling business and result stories

  • Ability to partner and collaborate with various teams and leadership levels as well as able to proactively and efficiently work independently at times

  • Demonstrated strong presentation skills

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products and collaboration tools
