Assists and supports the organization with initial compliance and ongoing preparation, testing and monitoring of conformance to the requirements of all applicable regulatory statutes, including Sarbanes-Oxley. Performs evaluation of internal controls, communications, risk assessments and maintenance of compliance-related documentation. Conducts ongoing SOX and other compliance audits, assessing risk in terms of financial, operational and strategic controls. Identifies risk, evaluates deficiencies and works with internal departments and stakeholders on remediation strategies.
