The position requires an individual who develops multi-level and multi-function relationships within accounts and drives the cross-functional team internally. Take lead and accountability for the cross-functional team that supports existing customer projects and activities. Function as the Account General Manager in driving all aspects of account management including product mix, pricing, margin, inventory, turns, on-time-shipping, product roadmap, marketing plan, production/distribution, customer training, customer satisfaction, quarterly business reviews, and issue resolution. Develop deep relationships throughout account including executive, marketing, engineering, procurement, and operations Develop category management plans - i.e. product mix, pricing, merchandising, advertising & promotion plan - to build customers' sales & profitability Develop and manage proposals for new installations and rebuilds Communicate job progress on installation projects Become the category "expert"; attend trade association events as necessary Solve technical challenges for customers, understanding relationship between customer's applications (i.e. equipment and chemicals) and the Company technology Build technical and sales skills through on-going industry training Establish customer pricing in a manner consistent with company's guidelines Report on account results and projections Other duties as requested WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications): Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Experience and/or Training: Experience calling on Car Wash Accounts with strong preference for equipment and chemical sales Experience managing accounts sized between $25M - $40M Minimum 5-8 years of field sales experience Ability to develop deep and broad relationship with accounts Strong category management experience to optimize product offerings / recommendations Strong leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams and taking ownership of issue resolution Ability to identify and influence key decision makers Proven strong interpersonal and organizational skills High-level of integrity, work ethic and accountability Proven track record closing large complex accounts or programs Proven track record selling technical product Experience with a multi-level, complex sale Effective written and oral communication skills Open and candid communicator Licenses/Certificates: Valid driver's license Technology/Equipment: Proficient to advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office Experience with CRM software Experience with ERP systems Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner d scriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
