Your main responsibilities and challenges

  • Develops forward looking solutions and business cases for new update opportunities. Leads the definition of the standard Updates offerings including the technical solution, cost, schedule and pricing strategy.

  • Feed proposals and sales team with updates opportunities as well as standard presentations, campaign support, customer meetings etc.

  • Interprets market analysis, collects inputs from customers and monitors competitor actions in conjunction with marketing team in order to make recommendations on business strategy.

  • Interface with regulatory group on regulatory and safety trends impacting the Updates business.

  • Communicates vision and strategy to senior management and broader organization and ensures alignment with supply chain activities / strategies and overall CAE strategy.

  • Lead continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives for existing updates offerings. Actively participates in project lessons learned activities and oversees the implementation of recommendations.

  • Oversees the execution of standard update programs through interactions with project teams and operations.

  • Provides inputs to R&D decision-making for updates opportunities and manage allocated R&D budgets. Interface with Product Management team to synchronize Updates and Products roadmaps

    Required skills

  • Bachelor degree in job-related field.

  • Minimum of 8 to 12 years of relevant experience.

  • Fluency in English and French.

  • Knowledge of CAE's products, technologies and processes an asset.
