CAE USA INC Assembler (Evening - 2pm - 10pm or Night - 10pm - 6am) in Montreal (St. Laurent), Canada

Role and Responsibilities

The candidate s must assemble, adjust, modify and install electromechanical parts or prefabricated elements on flight, marine and energy systems according to the conditions, criteria and details required for the position .

The role that we are proposing:

  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics and electromechanical assembly diagrams.

  • Crimp different types of wires and cables of various dimensions using different contacts, lugs and splices.

  • Install cables, wiring harnesses and sub-assemblies according to markers, cabling diagrams and cabinet drawings.

  • Build wiring harnesses according to drawing, schematic and work procedure requirements (routing boards).

  • Perform the mechanical assembly of avionics parts with the help of drawings, progens etc.

  • Perform soldering work according to work procedures and drawing and schematic standards and requirements.

  • Perform manual or mechanical braiding according to work order requirements.

  • Assemble, adjust and install parts or prefabricated elements (assemblies, hydraulic or mechanical systems) on electromechanical systems.

  • Modify or adjust complex or small electromechanical parts.

    The candidate we are looking for has:

  • Professional Study Diploma in Aircraft Electrical Assembly. Any other equivalent combination of the required qualifications will be considered.

  • A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.

  • Familiarity with precision standards.

  • Familiarity with occupational health and safety standards, especially WHMIS.

  • Functional knowledge of French is required.
