Eaton Corporation Programme Planner in Mascot, Australia

We are looking to hire a Programme Planner to report directly to the Head of Projects and Services, and be responsible for the initiation, creation, and maintenance of the master resource schedule for the PQ division in Australia and New Zealand. This is a newly created role working with sales managers, resource managers, PMO, engineering, field services and coordination managers.

Key Duties:

  • Partner with Project, Engineering and Services to provide a consistent approach to plan and monitor the resource requirements to meet project deliveries.

  • Maintain and communicate a coherent view on all resources across the program and provide a reconciled view of planned versus actual resource utilisation to resource managers and leadership team.

  • Create and maintain standard project templates and guide Project Managers on resource planning and monitoring

  • Maintain a common Risk and Issue register across all projects and pipelines on resource planning and utilisation.

  • Proactively review and spot anomalies with the allocation of resources and communicate risks promptly.

  • Develop and maintain suitable dashboards to accommodate the multilayer views of schedule, timelines, dependencies, and resource capacity needs.

  • Support to the PMO in the facilitation of ad hoc activities such as stage gate reviews, risk consolidation, PowerPoint packs and Government reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Programmer Planner, Master Scheduler or PMO Manager working across multiple technical projects

  • Past experience working with PMO and governance frameworks where you’ve had to escalate change requests due to variations in the baseline schedules.

  • Proven milestone management and resource ability reporting using reporting tools such as PowerBI

  • Excellent communication and administrative skills
