Role: Associate General Counsel - Manufacturing & HR Compliance

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Associate General Counsel specializing in Manufacturing and HR Compliance. This individual will be responsible for overseeing human resources legal concerns, maintaining legal compliance in the manufacturing realm, and reviewing contracts related to the sale and procurement of goods and services.

The candidate must have an extensive understanding of employment law and should be skilled in developing policies and procedures following legal standards. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to multiple business units and should be accustomed to working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee HR legal aspects, including employment law compliance, conflicts of interest, disciplinary matters, and contracts.

  • Guide and ensure the adherence to HR practices and objectives that will provide a balanced program throughout the organization.

  • Partner with executives and the HR team to refine policies and procedures to minimize risk.

  • Review, negotiate, and interpret a wide variety of contracts including sales, vendor, goods, and services contracts.

  • Ensure legal compliance in manufacturing processes and protocols by developing controls, policies, and procedures.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on employment law and regulations at the national and local level.

  • Provide regular training and updates to HR and business units on relevant legal issues.

    Requirements • Demonstrable experience as an Associate General Counsel or similar role

• Proficiency in utilizing 3M, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, and Fusion

• Expertise in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Proven skills in creating and managing Banner Ads

• Extensive experience in Auditing and Claim Administration

• Strong Communication and Documentation skills

• Proficient in Compensation Administration

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative attitude

• Demonstrable ethical judgement and professionalism

• Law degree from an accredited university

• Must be licensed to practice law in the hiring jurisdiction.
