About You

You will be responsible for inspecting, adjusting, and repairing elevators and escalators to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure WWJSSS requirements are strictly adhered to

• Ensure relevant ISO procedures are adhered to

• Check motor and related wiring, wires and earth link and adjustment of motor brakes and controller circuit; top up gear oil if it is a gear lift

• Ensure that the car and landing doors close smoothly, make adjustment where necessary

• Ensure that the car shoes are properly installed

• Check the safety block and governor are functioning properly

• Install and check the selector tape or magnetic tape and hoist way vanes and sensors

• Involve in FSB/BCD inspections where necessary with the Test Engineer

• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Project Engineer, Asst. Engineer or Supervisor and Commissioning Manager

Requirement

• Higher Nitec in Vertical Transportation/ Engineering or relevant disciplines

• Min. 3 years of work experiences as Tester

• Good communication skills in English

• Team player, adaptable and agile
