Robert Half is currently seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst near middle sex county. This position will play a critical role in assisting the Director of Rate & Budgets with the preparation of regulatory rate filings and the annual budget for a large company within the utilities industry.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Director of Rate & Budgets to prepare regulatory rate filings and annual budgets.

• Utilize advanced financial modeling skills to follow, update, and create/build financial models accurately.

• Ensure accuracy and consistency in data sources, tying out details, and maintaining data integrity.

• Conduct thorough research to explain variances in financial performance and provide insightful analysis.

• Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively with team members.

• Communicate financial insights effectively at all levels of the organization.

• Apply general accounting knowledge to support financial analysis and decision-making processes.

• Perform ad-hoc analysis to address emerging business needs and support strategic initiatives.
