WTW Contract Services Technician in Ipswich, United Kingdom

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Contract Services Department (CSD). CSD is a well-established central team, operating as a part of the overall Central Operations team for WTW GB. The team is responsible for providing technical support to the Business Units on matters such as, territorial licensing, Market Reform Contract (MRC) updates and contract certainty. In addition, CSD provide operational support on market modernisation and business performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).

Whilst Insurance industry experience is welcomed, we are also open to candidates, including recent graduates, who have a high level of analytical, attention to detail and prioritisation skills.

The Role

In this varied role, you will be responsible for helping to deliver the CSD value proposition in supporting the Business Units to operate efficiently and within our regulatory obligations. You will complete the tasks that underpin this and be a key contact for the business.

Principal duties and responsibilities of the team include the following, which you may be asked to support:

• Reviewing and interpreting regulatory reports and legislation to determine the impact upon Willis Limited’s licensing position

• Ensure that territorial licenses held by Willis Limited are maintained and support any new license applications, if required

• Production and distribution of high-quality Management Information (MI)

• Working with the BU’s to monitor and improve performance against contract certainty metrics. Interpreting and analysing MI to provide insights to management and the business

• Performing quality reviews on a selection of insurance contracts, providing feedback to the business

• Provide innovative feedback on current CSD processes and develop enhancements to current processes, where opportunities are seen

• Develop and maintain the necessary knowledge and working relationships to provide technical support to the business and other central functions

• Undertake and contribute to ad-hoc CSD projects and tasks, supporting management when required from time to time

The Requirements

• Insurance knowledge (particularly London Market) is preferred but not essential

• Quick learner, able to prioritise workload

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy

• Good organisation and time management skills, able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure

• Problem-solving ability, able to adapt and use initiative to follow tasks through to completion

• Good MS Excel skills
