Description We are in search of an Insurance Follow-Up Specialist to be based in Ft. Worth, Texas. The role primarily involves administrative duties and requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate will be responsible for appointing agents with their carriers, managing licensing, and creating detailed reports. This position is a contract role that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Handle administrative tasks with a strong emphasis on Excel

• Process and manage agent appointments with carriers

• Oversee all licensing procedures

• Conduct monthly exports to ensure agents are paid weekly and monthly

• Utilize Excel V-lookup to manage and shift files effectively

• Create comprehensive reports for different carriers with payments

• Handle correspondence professionally and promptly

• Carry out benefit and billing functions

• Manage claim administration effectively

• Provide administrative assistance when necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas is mandatory

• Prior experience in Benefit Functions and Billing Functions is desired

• Knowledge of Claim Administration is crucial

• Strong skills in correspondence and written communication

• Ability to provide Administrative Assistance when required

• Previous experience in the insurance sector is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Excellent time management skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and guidelines

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
