Google Account Executive, Looker, Google Cloud in Dublin, Ireland

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Candidates will typically have 4 years of experience in a quota carrying role for forecasting and closing.

  • Experience in cloud data analytics technology stack (i.e., Hadoop/Spark Data Lakes, SQL Data Warehouses, Data Streaming, ETL and Predictive Analytics, OLAP and Data Science framework, BigQuery, Looker, etc.) with a focus on business intelligence and data governance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with market leading BI Front-end, Data Analytics Middleware, or Back-end Data Warehouse technologies.

  • Ability to translate business value to technology at C-level and act as a thought leader in the data analytics topics.

  • Ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional/matrixed environment.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan, pitch, and execute a territory sales strategy.

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction, and act as an advisor.

  • Lead our account strategy, generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with sales representatives, customer engineers, and Google partners to optimize business results and develop opportunities with new enterprise customers.

  • Explore and understand complex customer requirements on a business and technical level and engage, educate, and ensure satisfaction of the installed base.

  • Develop the solution roadmap with the customer working with analytics. Manage multiple opportunities through the entire cycle simultaneously, working with cross-functional teams, while serving as the primary customer contact for all adoption-related activities.

  • Understand the global market and know how to apply it locally, and identify and develop business sponsors in Google accounts.
