About the Job:

The role of the Technician is to provide all of the necessary repairs and maintenance in order to preserve and improve the physical functionality and appearance of the facility.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • To understand and follow all manufacturer and government regulations/law, Jumeirah and Wild Wadi Standard Operating Procedures in order to exceed the operational requirements and ensure the Guest receives the highest standards of quality and service at all times.

  • To perform water quality tests in order to maintain appropriate sanitation levels according to the Dubai Municipality standards.

  • To perform planned preventative maintenance in order to prevent any future equipment failures.

  • To maintain appropriate records throughout the department in order to ensure the efficient flow of information.

  • To prepare requisitions for tools or materials necessary for performing specific projects in order to ensure proper repairs are achieved.

  • To perform safety inspections of all rides, ride surfaces, ride structural integrity and general building safety in order to maintain a safe environment for our guests.

  • To provide assistance for exclusive use events when needed, and to assist in the preparations of facilities for special functions, themed evenings, etc. in order to contribute to the success of the organization.

  • To report any safety concerns to management in order to maintain the highest standard of safety and hygiene at all times.

  • To completely satisfy each Guest by providing a great ride experience, comfortable water temperatures and maintain overall cleanliness of the park which will contribute to the success of the organization shown in the Customer Satisfaction Index results.

  • To respond to work orders in a timely and courteous manner.

  • To provide support to the other maintenance functions of the park should conditions arise which need immediate attention; such as water damage to floors, ceilings, and walls.

  • To maintain all tools and equipment in good repair and working condition.

  • Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.

  • This job requires exerting 25 to 50 kilograms of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 kilograms of force frequently.

  • To follow grooming standards and etiquette of the department in order to maintain the highest standard of professionalism towards work, guest and colleagues.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Completed HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate)

  • Technical training certificate

  • Minimum of 3 years in related position

  • Previous Engineering experience, minimum of 3 years
