• Follows complex defined test plans and datasheets utilizing a single technology.

• Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results.

• Records and explains test results and completes test report.

• Serves as Lead for test programs as assigned.

• Communicates project status and results as needed.

• Holds responsibility for defining test plan, report completion and accuracy, meeting of agreed deadlines, and managing project related activities.

• Examines complex customer samples and learns to operate appropriate tests for each case.

• Communicates with internal/external customers during setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation.

• Understands and is able to explain specific test standards and product technology for scope of responsibility.

• Assists lab staff with test setups and instrument operation based on test plans and instructions.

• Trains other lab staff on these test procedures or instrumentation.

• Operates and maintains complex test and support instruments appropriately to measure and test customer samples with the necessary help.

• Performs complex maintenance on designated test instruments and laboratory area.

• May perform calibration of test instruments.

• For a single testing technology, integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.

• Communicates with management and technical staff to provide suggestions for new instruments, processes, and forms to improve accuracy and efficiencies.

• Assists Senior Laboratory Chemists in the implementation / validation of new test methods and follows safe chemical hygiene practices.

• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

• Other duties as assigned.

• To ensure of all test extraction, report analysis and decision making.

• For any technical issues need to discuss with supervisor or manager.

• To make a quality test result for all analytical test using different analytical machines (Especially Inorganic test using ICP, XRF with respective all equipment’s).

• To perform & analysis all analytical test (Especially Inorganic test using ICP & XRF).

• Ensure to follow the SOP for all analytical test (especially under the sub-ordinate employee) & good laboratories practices.

• Recheck the test Results if necessary.

• Update the test result in software on the basis of lab finding & following client’s requirement and test standard.

• Ensure first level checking in test Report.

• To update & ensure all QC document for respective analytical tests.

• To ensure the maintenance, calibration & documentation of all analytical equipment (Especially Inorganic test using ICP & XRF with respective all equipment’s).

• To maintain and follow up the ISO 9001 and ISO 17025, to report directly to the Analytical Lab Manager.

• To train the new staff members in the laboratory as he will be the part of the team member.

• To follow all safety rules and protect self as required and instructed.

• To follow all the rules and regulations of the laboratory.

• In absence of Manager he will take care for all which assign by manager.

• To perform any other task assigned by the Analytical Lab Manager.

• Bachelors' degree or diploma from an accredited university through a formal program of study in Chemistry or related discipline including Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Organic/Inorganic Chemistry, Material Science but not limited to these disciplines only plus generally four years of directly related work experience or equivalent education and experience.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high quality and exceptional customer service.

• Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with Engineering and other Laboratory Personnel to complete projects in a timely manner with high quality.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze special testing needs.

• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor more junior laboratory staff.

• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with customers.

• Proven ability to be innovative and creative.

• Desire to work in a team-oriented environment. Ability to use Microsoft Office suite is a must.

• Ability to incorporate automation into day-to-day testing.
