Essilor of America US Digital Product Manager in Dallas, Texas

We currently have a US Digital Product Manager career opportunity at our Dallas, Texas location.

The Essilor Digital Instruments team aims to delivers innovative solutions for a store manager, who wants to offer a differentiated experience to their customers.


The product is a digital assistant that streamlines the patient journey in-store, enabling increased sales. Unlike other paper-based patient care solutions, the product offers great flexibility, featuring fast installation and support.

Your responsibility as the US Digital Product Manager is to play an important bridging role for the global digital team in the US market, providing vision and understanding about the US market. Similar to a proxy product owner, your role will include:

  • Gathering customer needs

  • Proactively addressing technical problems that are escalated to the development level and be empowered to address these through appropriate access to systems

  • Strategic framing of requirements (Key Accounts)

  • Working closely with product management in Essilor headquarters (Paris)

  • Providing features from US Market with ROI / Business value

  • Research & Market analysis on US Market

  • Deciding when product increments can be released to the customers in your market

The role will include training in Paris with the digital team; travel within and outside the US is required in the role.


  • Fluency in English is required

  • Additional fluency in French is preferred/desired to work effectively with the central team

  • Software development experience or experience with C++ Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or similar equivalent is required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience required as part of an Agile development team, ideally as a product owner or Proxy product owner

  • Effective customer / client communication skills required, including demonstrated customer / account management skills

  • Demonstrate leadership skills required

  • Demonstrated strategic mindset and problem-solving skills required.
