Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a skilled Credit Clerk in the finance industry. Our office is located in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, 28204-3243, United States. As a Credit Clerk, your primary role will be to manage and maintain customer credit records, process credit applications, and handle credit inquiries. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient financial operations within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner.

• Maintain robust and detailed customer credit records to ensure accurate tracking.

• Respond to customer credit inquiries, providing detailed and accurate responses.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

• Use your skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure accurate financial records.

• Utilize Bank Reconciliation and Bookkeeping skills to maintain precise financial data.

• Perform Data Entry tasks to ensure all customer credit information is up-to-date.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and tracking.

• Ensure the Month End Close process is completed accurately and efficiently.

• Use your skills in Payroll and QuickBooks to manage company financials.

• Prepare tax documents using your skills in Tax Preparation and Depreciation Schedule. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Proven skills in Bookkeeping

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks with high accuracy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Experience in Payroll processing

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software

• Experience in Tax Preparation and familiarity with a Depreciation Schedule

• Previous experience as a Tax Preparer is desirable
