Together, we provide high quality care to diverse individuals and families, regardless of ability to pay. Responsibilities:        Performs nursing actions to ensure patient participation in health promotion, maintenance, and restorationWorks with patients, nursing team and provider to ensure optimal patient outcomesWorks with patients to maximize their health capabilitiesPerforms all triage and manages the triage flowAdministers medication and provides treatment prescribed by providerPerforms immunizations and injectionsProvide clinical leadership to nursing staffContinuous collection of health data about the health status of patientsAssists in facilitating patient flow for the provider to ensure a seamless and efficient patient flowRequirements: Graduated from an accredited two year nursing schoolMust possess a current NYS Professional Registered Nurse licenseMust have current CPR certificationExceptional attention to detail and follow-throughSuperb organizational skillsStrong influencing skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work proactively and take initiativeResults-oriented; creative and persistent in accomplishing tasksSolutions-driven with a systems orientationHighly responsive, timely, accurate and thorough in follow-up and follow-throughHighly flexible, positive and results-oriented attitudeExcellent in managing shifting priorities and timelinesOutstanding time-management skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent judgment and discretionHourly rate:  $30 - $40 an hour (based on a full-time, 40 hour work week).  Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position related components.RN Tuition Reimbursement PotentialOur FQHC status provides a unique opportunity for tuition reimbursement for registered nurses, up to 60% repayment of qualified student loans directly related to a nursing degree. This tuition reimbursement program requires application and is not guaranteed.
