Do you want to play a key role in our sustainability reporting?

Bring your experience to the table and help shape our annual reporting and beyond. You will be part of a team of highly engaged sustainability professionals and work across the group on all relevant sustainability topics.

No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Core Responsibilities

While the Annual Report and CSRD process is owned and led by Finance, this role will undertake a number of tasks from Sustainability side:

  • Be Sustainability’s direct liaison partner with Finance and Communication on reporting

  • Lead the Double Materiality Assessment process across sustainability topics with support from Finance and provide recommendations to top level management

  • In partnership with Finance, work closely with all relevant functions and workstreams across the organization to ensure compliance with CSRD and ESRS

  • Support creation of the sustainability narrative for Annual Reporting and Modern Slavery reporting through strong collaboration with Communication and subject matter experts in the Sustainability team

  • Work across the sustainability workstreams in the organization and help define external sustainability measurement to demonstrate the impact efforts

  • Be on top of current and emerging sustainability reporting expectations and requirements

  • Ensure efficient ways of working, including clear roles & responsibilities related to reporting for the individual workstreams

As a second part of the role, the reporting manager will respond to the growing requests coming from our key customers related to sustainability.

  • Collate relevant information and data

  • Conveying a response that is delivering the needed information while ensuring relevant context

  • Liaise with our communications and commercial colleagues to deliver a high quality response

Environmental Sustainability (ES) is a globally based team leading the strategic planning and target setting, providing thought leadership and strong program management enabling our high sustainability ambitions and drive impact both inside and outside the LEGO Group through a commercial logic. The team is led by our Chief Sustainability Officer reporting directly into the CEO.

This role is anchored in the Human Rights, Reporting and Responsible Sourcing team.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration or similar relevant area orequivalent experience

  • Relevant certifications in Program management or similar

  • Strong knowledge on CSRD

  • Extensive experience in working with Sustainability Reporting including strong communication skills

  • Experience with driving Double Materiality Assessments in large organizations

  • Proven track record of a detailed and well organized approach

  • A good eye for the details, while being able to keep track of the bigger picture

  • Strong insights in various sustainability domains

  • Excellent collaboration and engagement skills at all levels
