Google Silicon Validation Engineer, Peripherals in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3 years of experience with Silicon Validation frameworks.

  • Experience in Design Validation and technical troubleshooting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience with tuning and characterization over PVT.

  • Knowledge on any of the high-speed IOs such as PCIe, USB, UFS and low-speed IOs such as UART, SPI, QSPI, I2C, I3C, PWM, GPIO.

  • Familiarity with power and performance measurements of SOCs.

As a Hardware Engineer, you design and build the systems that are the heart of the world's largest and most powerful computing infrastructure. You develop from the lowest levels of circuit design to large system design and see those systems all the way through to high volume manufacturing.   • Develop and execute test procedures to establish functionality of new Silicon.

  • Debug failures with cross-functional teams for Silicon, Boards, Software, and Manufacturing.

  • Provide regular updates about Silicon health to platform, software, and volume manufacturing teams.

  • Troubleshoot technical aspects pertaining to the facets of SiVal.

  • Be entitled to encapsulate the concepts hypothesis of testing coverage, design, and automation.
