Magretech LLC Assistance Production Manager in Bellevue, Ohio

Job Summary:

The Assistant Production Manager will assist the Production Manager and departments in achieving production and maintenance related goals. The Assistant Production Manager will work closely with Department Supervisors and Production Manager to ensure that all performance indicators are being met, as well as helping improve key processes.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversea Production and Maintenance Supervisors to ensure success within the departments.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist to keep production running and meet monthly targets for output, recovery rate, flux/gas usage, etc.
  • Reduce the cost/usage of consumable materials such as flux, gas, PPE, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate maintenance repair efforts with maintenance and production teams.
  • Weekly Report Production and Maintenance activities (downtime, output, work orders, OT, etc.)
  • Monitor and control training and safety related activities.
  • Supervise department performance and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Train and evaluate department employees.
  • Perform corrective actions, when necessary, for improved performance or process
  • Coordinate with third-party contractors for maintenance needs
  • Monitor/track inventory levels of PPE, maintenance/production supply items, gases, etc.
  • Continuous improvement in production process and equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting of all processes and equipment for speedy and efficient improvement.
  • Ensure quality standards are kept up to date and followed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and upkeep maintenance software.
  • Understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other governing body regulations for industry.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Five years of experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Five years of experience in manufacturing supervisory role preferred.
  • Three years of experience in a management role preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing and walking.
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into confined spaces.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Working Hours:
