We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Business Analyst -- Financial Planning within our Product Lifecycle Management team to help support our Home Furniture

 business.  Our Home Furniture business brings an intense focus on the customer, innovation, world-class manufacturing capabilities, and a global footprint together to create full package solutions for the industry.  We do not make furniture.  We make furniture more comfortable.  We need the best people on our team to support our strategy, and your work will ensure people around the world have a little more comfort in their lives.

 

As a Business Analyst -- Financial Planning,  you will combine your passion for analytics, financial planning, and cross-functional collaboration and contribute to the future success of our business. The team you will be working with is collaborative, innovative, and values challenging work while empowering and supporting each other to reach their full potential. 

 

So, what will you be doing as a Business Analyst -- Financial Planning?

  • Drive People First culture and work environment into the DNA of Product Lifecycle Management team.
  • Develop business cases for new products by compiling, analyzing, and communicating financial data
  • Review and monitor sales forecasts, capital plans, and capacity plans
  • Assist in the design and implementation of integrated financial planning tools
  • Generate monthly reports using financial planning tools
  • Support international pricing activities for new product developments
  • Drive continuous improvement in business case development and integrated financial planning processes
  • 10% domestic and international travel

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in product planning, accounting, finance, statistics or related roles
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret detailed sales and forecast data
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requests in a high-volume, detail-oriented environment
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to effectively interface with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBi
