Our team is responsible for the Books & Records in the United States. We are a trusted business partner to the business for all Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Controlling topics. Our team (CF R NAM US SI) maintains efficient accounting processes, provides transparency on financial data and ensures correct Books & Records. We also look for continuous process optimization and digitalization opportunities around the Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Controlling processes.

We are looking for an experienced finance manager with a strong business affinity to ensure governance for the SI financial statements based on Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG), and to provide the business with accounting expertise for current and future transactions, projects or complex (new) business models.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Responsible for the correctness of books & records in accordance with the FRGs in close collaboration with management of the SI business.

  • Trusted business partner to the SI FIN head and the SI business for all accounting and financial reporting topics.

  • Teams up with the business on strategic (M&A) projects and new business models.

  • Leads the SI BP accounting team with expert FRG knowledge and works closely with CF R 7 partners in HQ to ensure consistent application and implementation of FRGs.

  • Continuously strives for more process efficiency and effectiveness while increasing quality through process improvements, automation and digitalization.

  • Assists in assessing and implementing ERP and/or reporting system changes, integration or implementation as required.

  • Ensures that internal controls are in place and effective and that respective testing is done and documented, complies with external regulations, collaborates with internal and external auditors.

  • Manages a team of managers and staff.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • A professional accounting education (CPA or equivalent) is a prerequisite.

  • Over 10 years of accounting experience, including leadership roles overseeing accounting teams, with extensive knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting.

  • Advanced understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and FRG’s (Financial Reporting Guidelines).

  • Comprehensive grasp of end-to-end reporting processes and governance requirements.

  • Proven experience in guiding change management initiatives.

The pay range for this position is $140,200 - $240,400. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
